Browsing today for 2 pints at Smith’s, (alright already, I *had* to use my $1.00 off 2 pint coupon) I was completely suckered in by Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream.

Just because Stephen Colbert was pointing at me, telling me to do so.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love the fatty flavor of vanilla, especially swirled with caramel. But I prefer fresh chocolate-dipped waffle cones, not already mixed and frozen in, so it really wouldn’t be my first choice flavor (first choice flavor is ALWAYS New York Super Fudge Chunk).

But Stephen Colbert was doing his thing, making that eyebrow-raised face, and pointing that Stephen Colbert finger.

It had me laughing, so I had to buy.

And geesh, can we say Stephen Colbert IS living the American Dream?  From his comedy bits on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, to his own show. . .even able to roast the President without getting hardly any Media Backlash. . . now that’s an American Dream.

One of my favorite things about his show is when he introduces a guest and HE takes all the applause from the audience for it.  Smart and subtle.
