Foo & I watched the most subtle, interesting movie last night: Lars and the Real Girl.
It’s actually a very quiet movie, but in that quiet it speaks volumes: A very lonely 27-year old introvert, who has no personal life to speak of, goes through an emotional process of grieving his losses in life, with the help of a life-sized custom-designed doll.

I just saw this movie on DVD. I really was moved by it. Ryan Gosling gives a stellar performance. I plan to give it a review soon.
