Amen. I’d vote for a Fey/Poehler ticket….hah!
You said it right. America has way too many people who are not taken care of. I’m tired of hearing from so many McCain/Palin supporters their fear of taxes going through the roof if Obama gets voted in. It’s not like we’re going to become like the Swedes and pay 50% of our income to the government. What responsibility do we have to improve the day to day life of our fellow neighbors? A lot. I think that’s just it…so many of us live by “neighbors” who are fine, and hence it’s not “my problem”. Or as a recent McCain/Palin supporter said to me, “If you want healthcare, just get a better job.” Hmmmm….that’s easy for an engineering college graduate to say.
Go Obama/Biden.
